Amazon’s highly anticipated adaptation of the popular video game series Fallout is set to release later this month on Prime Video. The cast and crew have been working hard to bring this post-apocalyptic world to life on the small screen.
Executive producer Jonathan Nolan, known for his work on Christopher Nolan’s films, has expressed his love for the Fallout games. However, he admits that adapting an open-world video game like Fallout presents its own set of challenges compared to working with a novel.
The show will focus on main characters Lucy, Maximus, and the Ghoul, aiming to capture the sense of freedom and exploration that gamers love about the series. Actors Ella Purnell and Walton Goggins discuss their characters and the social commentary that will be woven throughout the series.
Despite their best efforts, some ideas planned for the show had to be scrapped in order to be used for Fallout 5 in the future. Fans can expect a visually stunning and immersive adaptation when Fallout premieres on 12th April.
